TOUGH LOVE

Hey! Hi Namaste this is Tulip Roy. Tough love, basically I read about it in a book by Robin Sharma, so if you’re here by the reference of red rooms and 50 shades of gray, I’m really sorry you’re in the wrong place.
Now in reality I might not be 30% of what a writer Robin is but I do believe in free will and think people should know one part of a point of view too. Are you the queen of England or president of the USA or the C.E.O of apple (if you are I’m very respectful of you guys no offence)? Because you know what as normal humans, you really don’t need to discipline your life or as tough love you call it. I believe that life is small and cute; it’s tough for people who make it tough. If life is hard for you have you asked yourself why, before working like a donkey to make it comfortable, learn to let it go and say the 3 words “bhard me jaye” to the world ( go to hell) and enjoy yourself.
You are here today cause you worked hard but in reality how much more or longer do you want to do it, money matter’s I know, more than anything but haven’t you got enough to let go for a week and come back again.
So have fun, not too much; that’s how you know you show tough love to yourself but don’t let it get lost in no love at all; love yourself always and forever!
p.s. please leave a comment!

10 Simple steps to a beautiful face

Hey! Hi Namaste this is Tulip Roy. How many times have you looked into the mirror and felt sad about your face? Or its quality? Not more than me I am sure! But these day’s people look at me and wish they had the clear face that I do. So you know what, I will share my secrets to a completely unknown. These things might seem like a very common solution to you but do understand to do it every day of your reaming life and not stop till the rest of your life (maybe that’s a bit too much exaggeration but I guess you get the point)

1.  Drink a lot of water: I’m sure you might have heard this a zillion of times but what you gotta understand is that it works wonders. I think 80% of the work is done when you just drink a lot water and it’s not only good but very beneficial for the whole body and one other thing you gotta understand is that by drinking water I mean a lot of water, like maybe 3-4 liters of water a whole day and don’t drink all of it once, that doesn’t help, drink throughout the day.
2. Wash your face: You have to wash your face like 5-6 times a day, it doesn’t have to be by face wash or scrubber, just with water and let a bit amount of water stay an your face after you wash it and yes! Do use scrubber twice a week.
3. Do not use a lot of makeup: maybe you usually don’t, but if you do, you gotta stop it, you should use minimum amount of makeup, if you do, for lips, if you apply lipstick do remember to wipe it off, soonest you can. DO NOT SLEEP WITH MAKEUP ON; this will practically destroy your entire life, wash makeup when you sleep.
4. Try to understand: try to understand the type of the skin you have, oily or rough or you have oily face don’t use moisturizer, do use a little in winter, if you have a rough face on the other hand use a lot of moisturizer and do not wash your face often and if you have a smooth skin (then why are you reading this darling!) use medium amount of moisturizer.
5. Sunscreen: if you don’t use sunscreen, then start now. Use sunscreen even on a cloudy day, use it from the morning to evening at least 3 times a day, it is a myth that you don’t need sunscreen on a cloudy day.
6. Do not disturb: do not disturb a pimple it leads to acne marks, let it be, it will go down on its own, just remember to do the above following you can also apply lemon on your face to make pimples n acne go away!
7. Eat good and healthy: by this I don’t mean diet or eat broccoli (though do eat broccoli, it’s very good for health and a wonder food) I just mean simply eat good n healthy, eating oily and unhealthy stuff leads fat as well as pimples or acne. It is good overall. Eat nuts lie almond n eat cashew to make your face look healthy but don’t eat too much as it will make you gain weight.
8. Don’t use razor on face: its quick n fast n easy but razor makes your face rough n further destroys the quality of the skin. If you stop using razor it just makes your face glow n also look good n healthy.
9. Give it time: if you are doing all of this and nothing happens, be patient and give it time to change, it will take time but trust me the results will be good, so give it time, do all of it and wait for it, don’t stop all of it because you don’t see quick results.
10. Love yourself: might seem totally irrelevant to read this here but the thing is if you hate yourself, you can’t see the perfection in you, your face might become perfect but it won’t look so if you don’t love yourself, remember to love yourself, more than anything and it will be just all right.
P.S be happy for who you are cause you deserve to be. Please leave a comment I will be glad!!

Goa – A backpacker’s review

Hey! Hi Namaste this is Tulip Roy
(Hey guys if you are looking for something more specific to Anjuna Beach, click this link right here http://tulipsin.blogspot.in/2014_03_01_archive.html , it’s coming from a gal who lived in the beach for almost 3 months!). I have a house in Goa, well my parents do. Just few days ago I visited Goa, the one place in India where you actually don’t have to think about what people might think or react; Goa once upon a time was under the control of Portugal, so even now if you were to visit Goa you still could almost feel the Portugal influence, there are parts where you can find Portages buildings and what’s left of their arrival and the soon departure.
This part as beautiful as it might be is not being very well maintained but still can be viewed and appreciated by art lovers. This part can be seen in Basilica Bom Jesus which houses the mortal remains of the famous Portuguese St. Augustine and can in fact be also seen in Fort Agorda. If you want to visit these places you can take a guided tour which would be cheap and show you the other attractions too, I would totally recommend it.
That was one side of South Goa, the other side of Goa is the wild side. You know to discover this side of Goa you don’t much have to look for it or find it. If you are looking for crazy wild, I recommend find a hotel or backpackers stay near the Anjuna beach; it is a very common beach every local knows about it, if you are coming from the Dobilim Airport, sadly there are no cheaper alternatives such as buses or train near the airport, so you have to take the cab or taxi to Mapusa, from there you can take an auto to Anjuna. Anyway the night life over there is really good and so is the food.
Now comes the relaxing side of North Goa. If you are coming to Goa to relax and drink a mild beer, enjoy the sun and relax, have a good tan, then there is Colva beach, though a lot people won’t agree with me but I advise you to read on. If you are coming by train, then get down at Panjim station, get out of the station and find yourself a yellow and black auto and tell him to take you to Colva beach, if u are a single person, he should charge Rs 100 to 15 NOT MORE THAN THAT! I could have told you the bus routine but it’s a bit hard and I don’t think u would prefer that after a long journey, but I will tell you anyway, you have to get out of the station and go out, like on the road and start walking strait look at the figure down
I guess you can see the arrow right, just go like that the road is almost half a kilometer which is like you have to walk a lot and when see the bridge, stand underneath it (the red should be where you are) and you’ll get a bus to Colva beach, it will cost almost Rs 15 or less, so if you’re going cheap, you can take this way but it is a lot of hard work. Once you reach there, you can check into a hotel but again if you are going cheap and peaceful you’ll have to find your own peace of hotel (if you are luck and desperate enough ask for hotel Golden Nest, it is run by a very nice guy named Constantine, ask the restaurants staff!). Any way it is very crowded most of the time but if you hit the beach and go west, if you keep walking for a mile or so you can visit Majoda and Bagador you’ll find a lot of shacks and peaceful environment, to get a great tan in, just keep walking west!
From Colva beach, you can take a bus to Panji and explore the capital, which is beautiful and well civilized. So go to Goa drink a beer and do eat prawn rice, don’t miss it. In Colva beach you can hire a bike or a bicycle and roam around to discover new beaches, if you get on the bus and get down at Maria Hall and walk strait in (ask the locals) you can go to this wonderful beach there too. Enjoy yourself and don’t entertain any person who claims to be your friend or say that, there is something wrong with your ears, you’ll end up losing a lot of money!!  Listen to the local music, enjoy the local matches of football and fall in love with the beach’s
P.S please leave a comment, I would love one!

An evening in Sri Lanka

Hey! Hi Namaste this is Tulip Roy. Have you ever been to Sri Lanka because I have, it is in fact a very beautiful exotic and raw country, it’s like an undiscovered land of treasure and oh! So raw and so unexplored, I am sure you’ll love it great and once you hit the beach you’ll realize that it’s like a dream beautiful the water so blue and green all at once, beach with silver sand and the sun so good that even if you stayed all day under it, it would almost feel like spa.
One beautiful hot! Afternoon I decided to go for a swim in the beach, I wore on my bikini and with hair tied above I hit the beach, as I passed the hotel staff greeted and I went on, the restaurant which was now it’s low time was just on the beach, though with a very less staff. When I came close to the water I almost ran into the water, oh! The joy, you know never have I witnessed the sea water being hot on an afternoon just the normal wonderful temperature (excluding Juhu beach in Bombay) so was the water’s here too. So anyway the tide was cool not too high not too low, being very away from the shore i.e. too much inside the sea I enjoyed, I was almost asleep in the water, enjoyably time passed by.
I had been in the water for almost 4 to 5 hours now, the sun was going down, though I was very far I could see my parents had arrived in the restaurant, it was their usually time, some on the staff came near the shore and called me shouting that my parents were calling me, I decide then to go out of the water’s.
I started swimming out and went inside the water a bit when I came up I realized that I hadn’t moved a inch from where I was, that’s when I understood that now the tide of the sea had raised and the waters were getting really high, I tried more and more and more, the guy who was calling me stood there thinking that I was coming out. But after trying so much, I understood that my body was really tired and was giving up, I hadn’t ate anything after the breakfast which was a beautiful Sri Lankan dish, who’s name I can’t really recall, anyway I decided to give up, you see I could have called for help to the guy but I was just too proud you see, I am really good swimmer when I was small I think I won some medals too.
So the pride wouldn’t let me do it. There I started to think how death would be, even though it was stupid, I wasn’t actually stranded in the middle of the open water was I? No was just a mile away from the shore. I thought about how I would die here, too much of water or drowning or fainting in water could also kill! How much time would it take and when my body was to be found………………. Wait a minute I can’t be found dead n a bikini (I wouldn’t be found dead in a bikini!!). So I waved at the guy, he looked at me clueless, that’s when my dad arrived angry of my not coming out of the water, so I thought I should give it one more try and I thought why don’t I go really deep in and then try to swim out as then I wouldn’t have to face the tide and there I was standing on the shore after that attempt with my dad. The locals have a story or two the old creepy woman told me that there was an underground well that sucked the water in and due to that many foreigners lost their life. Now that I think about it I laugh, I still love the water and not losing my pride there, as you see I came out of the water, as my brain started to work after I threatened it with death, which makes me feel good. When I told my family about this, they had a great laugh and wished i would have died as they would get to come to Sri Lanka, every year at the day of my death! fun i guess.
I still love the sea and love to swim and going deep in. I love the sea, sand and the water.
Moral of the story is aw heck I don’t know I thought I would look wise if I gave one but why don’t you find your own one!!
P.S I would really appreciate if you leave a comment!

How to bring positivty in life

Hey! Hi Namaste this is Tulip Roy. Relax and read on!

Life is small but sometimes it is a very long stretch, this happens, when you do not utilize all its resources or when you fail to understand the resources that you have, what people don’t in fact understand is that the downs, liability or losses of life are very important to understand the real value of what that is good and important.
For a good story there always has to a superb villain, because you see, as strong as the villain is, more stronger has the hero to be, what in detail you should try and understand are that both are great personalities with their mind on the opposites side, where you are faced in a bad situation because of others think of what the other side of the coin’s story must hold for you, understand it with open mind. It is only when that you start to think like this, that you overcome the negative aspects and open yourself up to all that is positive.
You have to believe in yourself, in truth you should be the only person that you should have complete faith in. When all of this is passed, forces such as luck find you.
Always remember that only positive attracts positive, think what is good and the good will come to you, it’s just the way it all works. Just
1.   Do what you think is right
2.    Believe in yourself
3.   love yourself
4.   Be happy because you deserve it!

P.S. please feel free to leave a comment any negative or positive comment will be encouraged and you know what I’ll just be glad to know that you visited!! Good day

Homosexaulity a crime in India

Hey! Hi Namaste! I am Tulip Roy and if you are wondering why Namaste, so yes I am from India, in general people don’t much use Namaste in India but you get to hear it from people of other country or American TV shows or Hollywood using it in anything  related to Indian, that you suddenly realize oh yes! Namaste is an Indian thing and a popularly used term to represent the Indianan way of saying Hi, even though we barely use it these days. I can go on and on about things but the truth is that none of that really matters today India or the youth of India are so westernized or trying to become, that for them Namaste is something that you only hear in a typical Indian show.
As you know every coin has two sides but sometimes I wish the way India is trying to modernize it should also do so in its values and thinking not just in the way of eating or dressing. India might have westernized in its technology or development or its culture but just not where it really matter’s, it’s thinking.  You know I think thinking matters more than anything and in truth it cannot be influenced by anything but what you think really matters in your life, be parents or American TV shows.
On 2 July Delhi High Court under the section of 377 of the Indian penal code made homosexuality i.e. sex between the same sexes an illegal act. Till how much length can our government justify this? Now where does the modernizing factor goes that India claims that it’s going through. Let me clarify what homosexuality actually is, you can call a person homosexual when he/she is attracted to the same sex, I guess gay and lesbians are more frequently used words.

When I was small, I was in fact greatly attracted to women, I loved their bottoms I loved their curves. I almost dreamt about being with a woman when I grew up but then I was small, when I grew up a bit I fell in love with the cute guy in titanic, that was the time I understood that what I had experienced, was just a phase. But what homosexuality is is a totally different topic, it is not a phase or something that you can change by a period of time or religion or literature or by making it illegal. You simply can’t help liking the girl next door or the cute boy in work, it is human nature, then why take away their rights of human nature. You think they can be cured? Cured of what? Their human nature?
Who made us all?  Lets for argument sake say that God did. Then didn’t he make them, Blame god for their homosexuality! It is in Fact not their fault that they are attracted to the same sex they just can’t help it.  In our school the topic of homosexuality was fun, we used to tease our friends of being gay, at that time of age, the topic of homosexuality was not a taboo and suddenly you grow up see that it is illegal! What if one day they make being attracted to the opposite sex a crime then what would you do? Refrain? Aren’t human rights equal for everybody, then why not for them?
And frankly I just don’t feel independent enough by knowing that human rights are given to people on the outlook of their human nature of being attracted to the same or opposite sex. But in truth it is not only the problem of a prosperous nation like India but a global problem.
I might not be same but I feel it is vague and wrong to treat homosexual people different. If I were homosexual, my parents would hate me, my religion wouldn’t have acceptance for me, my friends would never be the same, people would never be the same for me and dreams, how could ever have them in world like this, I don’t think I could ever travel, you never know when your own country might put in jail for your human nature, other country is a far dream. I, maybe could never find love or receive it by somebody else.

I think I would rather die than be homosexual not because of their homosexuality or because of their nature but because of the behavior of the society.
I don’t think any law can change them neither do I think a piece of paper can do that though it is a damn good place to start from, we have to change ourselves and how we see them and one day maybe our society will have acceptance for them.
